Julian Stiles, an 11th grade student from Pascack Valley High School, has been soaring with musical accomplishments this year. He has performed with the Honors Orchestra of America, All-State Band as first horn, All-State Orchestra and All-Eastern Band.
Julian recently won twice for both horn and piano at the International Music and Arts Society's Talented Young Musician Olympia Competition. As a top prize winner, he will perform with the horn at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall and on piano at Weill Recital Hall later this month. He also received the highest rating at the New Jersey Music Teacher's Association piano festival at Westminster Choir College in Princeton.
This summer he will be traveling to Budapest and Vienna with the New Jersey Youth Symphony (he is currently a member) for performance opportunities and an orchestra competition in Vienna.
